So she came back today. Now she throws cornflakes and peanuts. It's hard to say who's crazier, me or her. She just scurries from tree to tree, a lot like a squirrel herself, to be perfectly honest. While I walk boldly down the path saying:

"Oh look, it's the crazy fucking squirrel lady. Ella va nourrir les equirelles, et mon chien va devenir malade, bien sur! Excellent! Allez-y crazy fucking squirrel lady, feed the vermin in our park."

Then I approach her, because I am itching for a fight, because she DRIVES ME MENTAL. And I say;

"Hey you know, we have a huge skunk problem in the park now, it's probably because you insist on throwing food on the ground."

I think I had what amounts to a minor panic attack today.

The good news is that mid-attack I managed to finalize a contract with someone, which speaks volumes about my command and control personal presentation styles.

Unfortunately, I also left work early and kinda downlplayed the real reasons. It just didn't seem wise to say; I am freaked out and sad about the amount of work I have to do and for some reason, it's making me feel teary and feeling teary spells "go home early" to me.

So I just said I was too cold. (old building = poor heat = goosebumps) Luckily, self-care being what it is, now that I am here and listening to the pets do pet-things around the house, and wearing my jogging pants a sweater and thick socks, I no longer feel quite so overwhelmed by the whole welschmertz of my life. I am not schmertzed, I will overcome, fuck yeah.

A wasp just stung the "f**k you wasp" finger on my left hand.

I called Jen because I was in too much pain to google aprés-wasp care myself.

She read this to me as I careened (screeching) around the apartment trying to eat an antihistamine while washing my digit and then coating it liberally in arnica gel.

Wasps are very territorial and will defend their nests aggressively and they can sting repeatedly. Multiple wasp stings can be extremely painful and unpleasant. One wasp sting is enough to make a person break the 100m Olympic sprint record. The author, who once worked at a crocodile farm, jumped over three large crocodiles after having been stung by a small 3cm long wasp in a desperate bid to escape more stings!

I just want to say that I listened to all these people who said views and CCK are the best way to customize Drupal to suit your needs, I did, I thought they had something good going on.

No longer.

I hate views. I'll learn it if I have to. But it's driving me nuts! The workflow is crappy - it's nothing but a glorified templating machine that erases all the flexibility that I used to enjoy hacking template files and combining specific purpose modules and for the most part all it does is replace that flexibility with the capacity to build nifty lists - yes, still lists.

I DON'T WANT LISTS ANYMORE.

#1/ Thinking myself very canny I decided to repair my g4 and wait a little longer to get a sweet-ass mac laptop, seeing as it's always better to get the second generation of new chips.

#1/ Except, and I didn't want to admit this online but I totally paid for unneccesary repairs because I was too lazy/ preoccupied to try and fix the problem myself. Thanks to Oana I now have two functional hard-drives, but thanks to Synergy computers all my preferences have disappeared, and did I mention I wasted like $175 bucks.

#3/ Than my laptop started acting a little off, and it turns out the motherboard on that little f**er is going too. Which is awesome because when the motherboard starts to go the laptop is irrepairable. It's like a 4.7 pound metal and plastic sticker book.
