SIGN THIS PETITION OR THE DOLPHINS WILL KILL YOU

Hi all - please sign this petition demanding that Elizabeth May - leader of the Green party - participate in the electoral debates. Along with being inconvenient not being able to hear the Green's position on a number of important issues, it is also a miscarriage of electoral justice.

Also I will be angry if you don't, though not as angry as our friends the dolphins.

Shameless Repost: What Would you Pay for a Basic Human Right?

What if you lived by the largest body of fresh water in the world but could no longer afford to use it?

In Liz Miller’s video documentary “The Waterfront” residents of Highland Park, a struggling community on the shores of Lake Michigan are shown looking with distress at water bills in amounts between 3 and 9000 dollars.

Technology why hast thou forsaken me?

#1/ Thinking myself very canny I decided to repair my g4 and wait a little longer to get a sweet-ass mac laptop, seeing as it's always better to get the second generation of new chips.

#1/ Except, and I didn't want to admit this online but I totally paid for unneccesary repairs because I was too lazy/ preoccupied to try and fix the problem myself. Thanks to Oana I now have two functional hard-drives, but thanks to Synergy computers all my preferences have disappeared, and did I mention I wasted like $175 bucks.

#3/ Than my laptop started acting a little off, and it turns out the motherboard on that little f**er is going too. Which is awesome because when the motherboard starts to go the laptop is irrepairable. It's like a 4.7 pound metal and plastic sticker book.

What if I am really hungry?

In further exploration of the Bioethics Forum I dicovered the Women's Bioethics Project.

Back when I had my questions about going on the pill this would have been the place to go for some serious feedback.

Check this post on setting criteria for ethical food choices at the grocery store Never eat anything bigger than your head

Caplan believes there's no need to have "a moral aneurysm" every time we go to the supermarket. Every person, he says, needs to establish a scale of ethical priorities. Is taste most important to you? Cost? The environment? Your health? Animal suffering? Pick one thing that matters most and let that drive your decisions.
