Just before toddling off to a warm cup of almond tea and bed, I thought it would be fun to do a futile little quiz to help me to figure out with which US presidential candidate my views are in closest alignment. I find it humorous that a Dutch web design company went to all this trouble, (I mean making a nifty Flash quiz) and that come a Canadian election, it will be much more difficult for me to find out who I should support.

Anyways, for what's its worth, here is a picture of me sticking a big fat pencil in Barack's eye. I think that is meant to indicate that we think alike.

Okay well, I just read how my views stack up alongside those of Big Daddy McCain and aside from global warming and torture we are on completely opposite sides of the fence. It's too bad because I really do like that guy.

Okay final bit of weirdness.. Both Obama and Clinton said they disagreed with the Statements "The US should decrease it's spending on defense", and both said that the US should erect a wall on the border between Mexico and the States. That being said, they are in favor in reducing medicare to the wealthy. So in the case of both candidates justice is neither blind nor is it unaware of the importance of the war economy. So who exactly represents the left in the USA these days?
