My Canada includes sodomy

Phelps crew avoids Toronto protest.

They carried signs with slogans that ran the gamut -- "God is Love," hilarious "Fred Phelps Needs to Get Laid" and "My Canada Includes Sodomy." Protesters from all age brackets (including one baby's very first protest) seemed in good spirits, eager to join together and drown out any unwelcome hatred.

The next time someone asks me why I identify as queer, I am going to say it's because Queers are frickin' hilarious!

So the infamous Westboro Baptist Church couldn't nut up and make it down to protest a play that made fun of their notorious pastor, Fred Phelps. That, or they got turned away at the border. Which is more awesome? The idea that the WBC is afraid of mild-mannered, peaceful, but fuhhh-ny Canadians or the image of Canadian border guards harassing hate-filled American evangelists?

I have this weird-ass vision of the border guards and what they must have said.

"Yes sir, I know on your side they are mostly stopping brown people. Here we have an obligation to stop, ahh fuck it we don't have any obligation, but you hate-filled lunatic crackers are just so fucking annoying! Now get out of here before we try to touch you in your no parts!"
