Okay well.. maybe not the whole 10 days. BUT STILL it's pretty exciting.

What am I doing in New York? Well I gots some big plans, but those are secret plans.

A visit to The Centre For Urban Pedagogy to talk about youth arts and civic engagement.

...and attending this mega incredible and exciting conference on Grassroots Media Activism at the New School University. The NYC Grassroots Media Conference. Holy smokes cats...

#2/ What kind of synchronicity is there in planning a trip to NYC at random and then finding out there is a one day conference on my subject of study/passion. What is that French word for that one goal you've been trying to do for most of your professional life uh... not ouevre. Anyways, hella-co-inky-dink. I can't wait, can't wait, can't wait. Oh yeah the word is metier.

At the conference there are going to be panel discussion/ workshops on so much that is interesting and relevant and I am going to meet so many kick-ass people and more importantly it is not a conference on "monetizing the web" ;).

Okay, one thing at a time. Today I have a dentists appointment in 40 minutes, ick. time to faire relaxer and get on the metro or I'll be late and this tooth will rot and fall out and then I'll be a toothless media activist.

Have I mentioned how *****EXCITED****** I am this morning, weeeeee!!!!!!
