That's really not a very professional headline is it? I should have written something like "Drupal offers interesting structuring possibilities using freetag taxonomies... 'Oh my God I just bought the most awesome dress I can't afford!'"
That's a key difference in the girlygirl geek vs boy/tomboy geek experience. I blow off work to buy dresses instead of blowing off work to go to tech conventions. Well okay actually I'd blow off work for either, but that's because I am an ambiguous girly tomboy, who procrastinates well. (Oooh no! Professional suicide. This whole professionalizing the blog isn't going to work out so well I can already tell.)
I think that's all I wanted to say I am back at work now. *Whoopie*! and I am thinking I need to start logging way more hours then I have been because August is getting close to finished and my to-do list is not a whole lot shorter than it was when I came home.
Oh and in other news I ran into Mark from Automatic Vaudeville on the way home and we discussed the neccesity of getting some small business owners financial management advice. I suggested I could call up Sebastian from Joy Toyz and see if she'll meet us for lunch and we'd split paying her consultation fees.
If anyone else wants in on this ever-so-casual business lunch for non-business types please send me an email - it'll hopefully cost you about $15 plus the cost of your lunch + a % of the cost of sebastians lunch.
The proposed dates for this are August 19th or 20th. Or if August is bad September 15th or 16th.
Oh yeah the awesome dress. (That is so awesome I will probably never wear it because all I do is sit in front of this computer writing email, avoiding Skyping Toms and trying to get some real work done...) is moss green with that top strap that's sooo in right now - a halter? Whatever it loops around my neck so the bustline is made nice and empire fitted with a satin band around my ribs, the skirt falls in an A-line with some flourishes at the hem and it's made of two layers of cottony material. The best part is the halter around my neck has three fake pearl fasteners - sweet. It looks vaguely like I am a militaristic fairy. (moss/army green, three matched buttons, but feathery)
My excuse for buying it: dresses like this never fit me. This one fit and it was half price(done and done). Now I better get invited to another wedding or I won't get to wear it before winter.
Okay mir crack the whip let's get a move on.
